What gives us the edge, globally?

Operational Efficiency

While most Asian extruders and converters rely on labour intensive manufacturing processes, our state-of-the-art fully automated European extrusion and conversion machinery, 24x7 non-stop production capabilities, and 60,000 sq. ft. warehousing facility affords us the advantage of manufacturing high volume, high quality products at low costs and lead times while also stocking sufficient inventory to ensure next working day delivery within mainland UK.

Low Cost & Environmentally Friendly Processes

We use post-industrial use, clean, recycled plastic pellets procured directly from source as well as virgin plastic pellets, i.e. our products are not only manufactured from recycled material but are also 100% recyclable. This responsible sourcing and closed-loop recycling approach allows us to source premium quality raw materials at much cheaper prices to manufacture high quality, smell-free products without sacrificing on our commitment towards sustainable and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes.

Optimum Product Design

In compliance with UK packaging standards, our stock range of mailing bags are designed to be 50 to 60 microns thick in order to provide the best trade-off between durability and weight thereby minimising the shipping and postage costs of our customers. This gives us a distinct upper hand over our European competitors who are often bogged down by stringent European packaging standards requiring them to manufacture thicker mailing bags using virgin plastic pellets that are both, less environmentally friendly and more expensive.

E-commerce manufacturing

We have quickly established ourselves as the preferred supplier of grey mailing bags, bubble wrap, kraft paper and other associated products to numerous online packaging distributors that wholesale and retail our products to ecommerce stores and other businesses requiring a regular supply of high quality - low cost packaging products.

Our success in this market is founded on our flexibility to facilitate unique arrangements and offer extremely competitive pricing by leveraging our efficient manufacturing practices, in-house warehousing capabilities along with our longstanding partnerships with reliable nationwide pallet networks, couriers and freight forwarders.

Our environmental policy

As per a global analysis of all mass-produced plastics published in 2017, approximately 8.3 billion tonnes of virgin plastics have been produced to date out of which, only 30% is still in use. The balance 70% accounts for disposed plastic out of which only 9% has been recycled with the majority ending up in landfills. More importantly, half of all virgin plastic was manufactured in just the last decade and projections suggest that there will be approximately 12 billion metric tonnes of plastic waste by 2050. Why do we need so much plastic? UK DEFRA's 2018 estimations have suggested that packaging alone accounts for nearly half of UK's annual plastic use.

As a manufacturer of plastic packaging products, we are mindful of this issue and are therefore committed to closed-loop recycling, i.e. using recycled plastic pelletsto manufacture recyclable polythene packaging products. Furthermore, we recycle all our process waste and re-use it in our manufacturing process. Doing so allows us to maintain a low carbon footprint while still offering low cost, durable, lightweight and waterproof packaging solutions.
